911 Turbo S
The Porsche 911 Turbo S represents the most powerful and technologically advanced road-focused 911 currently available. Positioned above the 911 Turbo, the Turbo S elevates output, braking capability, and standard performance equipment to deliver supercar-level acceleration while retaining the composure and structural integrity of the 911 platform. It is engineered to provide maximum performance without sacrificing daily usability.
The 911 Turbo S is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine producing 640 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Power is delivered through an 8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission and standard Porsche Traction Management all-wheel drive. With Launch Control engaged, the 911 Turbo S accelerates from 0–60 mph in approximately 2.6 seconds under optimal conditions.
Aerodynamic systems are enhanced compared to the standard Turbo. Active front air intakes and a variable rear wing adjust automatically to optimize airflow and downforce. The widened body accommodates increased cooling requirements and larger wheel configurations to support higher performance thresholds.
Rear-axle steering comes standard on the Turbo S, improving low-speed maneuverability and high-speed stability. Porsche Active Suspension Management is tuned to manage the elevated output, balancing ride refinement with dynamic precision. Despite its acceleration capability, the Turbo S maintains stability and control at highway speeds.
Braking systems are upgraded to match the vehicle’s performance envelope. Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) come standard, providing fade-resistant stopping power and reduced unsprung weight. Steering feedback remains direct, reinforcing driver confidence under aggressive acceleration.
The 911 Turbo S combines measurable performance metrics with structural refinement. It delivers acceleration comparable to many limited-production exotics while retaining the core balance and familiarity of the 911 architecture. It's the definitive choice for drivers who want supercar-level acceleration without sacrificing everyday usability or the intuitive character of the 911.
Features of the Porsche 911 Turbo S
3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine
The Turbo S produces 640 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Twin turbochargers provide immediate throttle response. Power delivery remains sustained under load. Acceleration performance reaches supercar territory.
Standard all-wheel drive system
Porsche Traction Management distributes torque dynamically between axles. Traction remains stable under hard acceleration. Grip improves in varied conditions. Performance remains controlled.
Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB)
Ceramic brake rotors provide high fade resistance. Unsprung weight is reduced for improved handling. Braking consistency remains strong under repeated high-speed stops. Pedal feel remains precise.
Rear-axle steering
Rear wheels adjust direction based on speed. Low-speed maneuverability improves. High-speed stability increases. Cornering precision remains sharp.
Active aerodynamic systems
Variable front air intakes optimize cooling and airflow. The rear wing adjusts to increase downforce at speed. Aerodynamics adapt automatically. Stability is enhanced without manual intervention.
Track-capable suspension tuning
Porsche Active Suspension Management adapts damping forces in real time. The system manages body control under acceleration. Ride refinement remains intact. Chassis balance remains precise.
