At the heart of the 2025 Taycan lies a significantly enhanced powertrain that features a new rear-axle motor for increased output and two battery choices: Standard (89 kWh) and Enhanced Plus (105 kWh). The 2025 base model generates 402 horsepower (Standard) or 429 horsepower (Enhanced Plus). The 4S kicks it up a notch with 536 horsepower (Standard) or 590 horsepower (Enhanced Plus). The high-performance variants are powerhouses that crank out up to 1,019 horsepower. A two-motor setup with a two-speed rear transmission ensures top-notch performance.
Performance
Each version of the 2025 Taycan's lineup packs a bigger punch than the previous year, showing off Porsche's top-notch engineering. The rear-wheel-drive sedan accelerates from zero to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. The Turbo S model surges to 60 mph in just 2.3 seconds. Every model has adaptive air suspension for a smooth ride with sharp steering. For the best control, all-wheel-drive versions offer the optional Active Ride suspension with 48-volt tech for quick changes.
Interior
The premium materials in the 2025 Taycan's interior showcase comfort and sophistication, and the Race-Tex cloth and classic Pepita patterns add a sporty yet classic look. Choose leather or no-leather seats in Black or Black/Slate Grey. At the heart of this luxury EV is a new digital instrument cluster that works with the latest Driver Experience. It has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, built-in maps, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a new control stalk for the driver help systems. The main control center includes a large, 16.8-inch curved screen that is complemented by a 10.9-inch display in the middle and an 8.4-inch panel on the center console. Back-seat passengers can have their own optional 5.9-inch control panel for more comfort and control.
