Trim Levels
The Porsche 911 comes in a wide variety of trim levels. The lineup starts with the Carrera and Carrera 4 and then goes to the Carrera 4s. A new Carrera T joins the lineup for 2023. The Targa 4, and the Targa 4S have similar features as the Carrea models. Then there are the GTS, Sport Classic, Turbo, Turbo S, and GT3. All 911 models come with LED headlights and adaptive suspension, with larger brakes for the Carrera S and 4S, which also have larger tires and wheels. Some optional exterior features include a Sport exhaust, carbon-ceramic brakes, a front axle lift, and a larger fuel tank.
Engine
With the 911, several engines are available. You can choose a six-cylinder, twin-turbo model that produces 379 horsepower, one that gives 572 horsepower, one that generates 543 horsepower, and an engine that offers 518 horsepower. You can choose a seven-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Performance
Every Porsche 911 comes with a smooth and quick eight-speed automatic transmission, but a seven-speed manual is optional for the S and GTS. The coupe and cabriolet models come standard with rear-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is optional. The Targa comes standard with all-wheel drive. No matter which 911 you have, it offers swift acceleration, which can increase in speed with the available launch control.
Interior
This vehicle is the pinnacle of luxury, and it comes with many advanced features. You'll get sport leather seats, a luggage compartment under the hood, keyless entry, an analog tachometer or RPM gauge, and two 7-inch displays on either side. There's also a 10.9-inch touchscreen on the dashboard. The sport steering wheel has the Porsche emblem in the center, and it comes with paddle shifters and controls for navigation, hands-free calling, and audio. You'll also get a Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and plenty of analog knobs and buttons.
Safety Features
Safety is important with a sports car, and the 911 comes standard with a rearview camera, traction and stability control, and a forward collision warning system with automatic braking. A lane-keeping assist is an available option, and you can also add adaptive cruise control. The Premium Package has a blind-spot monitor, a 360-degree surround-view camera system, and adaptive headlights for safer driving at night.
